The Henry Cochrane family about 1922

Front: Estelle Herron Cochrane, b. 3/11/1879; Donald A. Cochrane, b. 12/12/1919; Henry "Hay" Cochrane, b. 12/11/1866

Back: Lee Cochrane, b 11/24/1903; Oran A. Cochrane, b. 10/30/1906; Robert R. Cochrane, b. 10/21/1908; Lorraine Cochrane, b. 11/3/1901.

This photo was taken in 1921, most probably.

A photograph of Lorene Cochrane with her dad Henry. Pobably taken about 1903.

The first of a three photo set taken on July 25, 1913. The taller girl is Lorene Cochrane. She is about twelve years old in these photos.

Another photo of Lorene and a girl identified only as Alta. If I find any clarification of who she is I'll post it.

The last photo in this set. They are from one of Harlo Herron's photograph albums. He was about fifteen at this time, and he seems to have been a pretty avid photographer. I have seen more than one album that he filled and he labeled them. Maybe not with last name, but a first name at least lets one live in hope. It's at least a more optimistic situation than the four Huston photos from Wisconsin I have.

The Hillman County Normal School. Lorene Cochrane taught in this school. Hillman was certainly more more prosperous in those days. I think my mother, Catherine Huston, raduated from this place a couple of decades later.
