Ardellia M. Herron, 80, of 1210 S. Third died Friday (July 26) at Alpena General Hospital. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bannan Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ardellia
M. Herron, 80, of 1210 S. Third died Friday (July 26) at Alpena General
Hospital. Born Ardellia Manning on
October 4, 1915, in Lachine, she married Orville Herron on Aug. 22, 1942. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21,
1979. In 1984 she retired after 30 years
of teaching with the Alpena Public Schools system. She was a member of the Spratt United Methodist Church and Delta
Kappa Gamma.
Surviving
are three daughters, Margie of California, Gayle (Mrs. Robert) Schultz and
Doris (Mrs. Francis) Kaiser, both of Alpena; two sons, Nason of Alpena and
Franklin in California; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers,
Auston and Oden. Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. today at the Bannan Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Johnston
officiating.
Burial:
Evergreen Cemetery.
