James Huston, born 15
March, 1845 in LaChute, Quebec, and he died on 19, May, 1922, in
Manitou, Manitoba. He and Hattie Andrews on 17 July, 1872. She was
born on 29 May, 1849 in Ontario, and she died 29 March, 1911,
apparently in Manitoba. Their children are listed below. James ran a shoe store and was postmaster. He served one term in parliament. |

Charles Huston |
Charles Andrew Huston, was born on 5 May, 1876, in Stratford, Ontario, and he died on 21 March, 1923 in Palo Alto, CA. He died unexpectedly at age 46. He married Margaret Davidson who was born in or close to 1882 in Ireland. No date of marriage is known at present (2010). Pat Hewitt says that she heard James's son Charles was a law professor at Leland Stanford University. The Stanford law school historical web page indeed shows a Charles Andrews Huston was the third dean of the law school Charles Andrews Huston 1916-1923 and during World War I he was granted a leave of absence to "serve in Washington" See: http://www.law.stanford.edu/school/history/historysls.pdf See pp. 21 - 35. Eva was born 13 September, 1877 in Ontario. She married R. Lorne McTavish. We don't have have any more information about Eva and her family. |

Fred was born sometime around 1879 in Ontario. He died young at 21 on 27 February. 1900. He does not seem to have had a chance to have a family of his own. |
