Mrs. Robert Thorne

Mrs. Robert Thorne of Green twp. died Sunday at her home after an extended illness, the last three months of which had been critical. 

Born July 19, 1885 in Canada she came to Alpena with her parents when two years old, her parents settling on a farm in Long Rapids.  She was married in 1908.  She was a member of the Long Rapids Congregational church, the Rebekahs and Greeley Grange.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Lyle Donaldson (Mary) of Roseville; Mrs. Oscar Long (Eva) of Flint, and Nina at home; three sons, Clifford, Long Rapids, Eular, Rosedale, and Milo at home; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 4 at Long Rapids Congregational church, the Rev. R. M. Barksdale officiating.  Interment in Long Rapids Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Thorne of Green-twp will be Wednesday at 4 at Long Rapids Congregational church, the Rev. R. M. Barksdale officiating.  Interment in Long Rapids cemetery.  The body will be at the Bannan Funeral Home until 3 Wednesday afternoon.
